COVID-19 Safety Measures
We are incorporating practices aligned with the CDC, NC DHHS, and Brier Creek Country Club. This includes two to a cart (for family or those from the same household) and single cart options, required social distancing and masks when that’s not possible, and limiting the number of staff, volunteers, and vendors on site. Different than years past and due to the 25-person limit for large gatherings, tee times will be assigned for each group, rather than a shotgun start.
Food & Beverage
While the details are still being worked out, we’re committed to bringing the best food and beverage to you on the course while also supporting our local restaurant and beverage partners. And just because we aren’t able to gather as a large group doesn’t mean we can’t have fun! We’re working on delivering an interactive and lively day where you can safely connect with friends and others who share in their love and support of TLC.
Your participation in this year’s Tammy Lynn Golf Classic supports TLC’s programs and services at an especially critical and urgent time. Children and adults living with Autism and other diagnoses are especially vulnerable to the implications of isolation and change in routine that the pandemic has caused. Through Telehealth, our therapists are able to provide critical therapy and ABA services to those who need us most right now.
In a time where residential facilities and individuals with compromised immunity are at highest risk, today, all 46 residents at TLC remain well and safe thanks to the staff that we call Heroes and the support of families, parents, and loved ones. These are just a few ways your participation makes a difference for hundreds of children, adults, and families this year.
