Grace Found More Than Care. Her Family Found Hope.
For Jenny and Felix Chandler, finding the right support for their daughter Grace was long, emotional and often discouraging.
“Finding quality care is challenging,” Jenny shared. “We were about in tears trying to find something for her.”
Then they found TLC.
Grace first came to TLC at age seven through the summer program. Her family quickly saw how much she loved being there — and knew they had found a place where she felt comfortable, supported and happy.
As Grace grew, TLC continued to walk alongside her family. After she graduated from high school, the day program gave her a place to stay active, build relationships and remain connected to her community. Later, when Grace was ready for the next stage of adulthood, her family once again turned to TLC for residential support.
Today, Grace continues to participate in the day program and lives in a TLC-supported home, surrounded by people who help her thrive and be part of her community.
For Jenny and Felix, that lifelong support has brought something invaluable: peace of mind.
