23rd annual tournament brings together 92 golfers to support TLC programs serving children, adults and families across North Carolina

RALEIGH, N.C. — Sept. 15, 2026 — Ninety-two golfers hit the course for a cause Monday, Sept. 14, helping TLC (founded as Tammy Lynn Center) raise over $110,000 to support children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

The 23rd Annual TLC Golf Classic, held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University in Raleigh, brought together golfers, local businesses and community supporters for a day of competition and philanthropy benefiting TLC’s programs and services.

The tournament proceeds help sustain assessments, therapies and home-based supports; community homes and a day program; and care navigation and family support.

“Raising over $110,000 is a testament to the generosity of this community and its commitment to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities,” said Sarah Crawford, CEO of TLC. “Every golfer who joined us, every business that sponsored the tournament and every person who contributed help make our mission possible. Their support allows TLC to continue meeting individuals and families where they are and helping them live their fullest lives.”

For more than two decades, the TLC Golf Classic, historically known as the Tammy Lynn Center Golf Classic, has brought the community together to support TLC’s mission. This year’s tournament featured food and beverages, contests throughout the course and opportunities for participants to learn more about the impact of their support.
